Admitting defeat

I'm bowing out of the second round of thing_in_150, at least for now. I wasn't really ready to start again at the beginning of August and I haven't been able to get back into the rhythm since, and now, between work commitments and falling into what looks like a major plot hole, I just can't keep it up. This doesn't mean I'm giving up on writing again; it just means that I need to do it at my own pace for a while.


The good news is that this probably means more reading and more interesting content here.

I sympathise. I did novel_in_90 once, more or less successfully, but couldn't manage it the second time.

Don't forget there's always iwrislomo for those of us who just write as and when we can. :)

Thanks! It was fun the first time through, but towards the end it was getting to be a struggle, and the novel doesn't seem to want to be written that way. (It wants to be written in order, which means I don't get to pick which bit to do next, which doesn't mix well with daily quotas.)
