Now I'm confused

I'd somehow acquired the idea that November sweeps ended at Thanksgiving, but apparently not. Now everything's in reruns.
Speaking of reruns, Doomsday is another Voyage with four-star drama and a three-star Admiral. That makes it look more as though Last Battle was the one that aired out of sequence. I wonder why? There's a certain fitness in that fourth star appearing right after Hail to the Chief, but not if it disappeared again afterwards.
Now I'm contemplating a silly story in which the new insignia go missing, only to turn up weeks later.

Date: 2006-12-01 09:35 am (UTC)As the dated episodes on Voyage are all over the shop anyway (it's one of the reasons I feel justified in treating Season 1 as a separate series - I did once try to get them into internal chronological order - I must have been mad), and the fact that Mr Allen cheerfully resused already aired scenes to pad out episodes when they were behind hand, I'm not going to get too worried about the three star/four star switch...
