I have obtained a card reader, and the photos from the weekend are now on three different hard drives, one of which is in Tucson. It's been hazy and rather sultry all day, tempting me to wear a summer dress to work, and now the wind is getting up and the sky is definitely grey.

My problems with the hard drive seem utterly pathetic in the face of the news from New Orleans and the thought of the people who left everything behind and the ones who couldn't leave.
