ellarienToday's new screensaver was a red-and-blue lava lamp.
Fortran and I are still not getting along. I think half the trouble is that I'm not yet familiar enough with this compiler's quirks to deduce from the error messages what is really wrong. Yesterday's problem turned out to be that having one wrong-sized integer caused bizarre runtime errors (there being nothing in the documentation of the library to indicate that that particular integer, and no others, needed to be long.)
Today's ... well, I'll look at it again on Monday. It looks weirdly as if the FFT is only doing half its job, but that seems rather unlikely.
Things I'd like to do this weekend:
Get groceries (and non-transparent giftwrap!) [Two trips!]
Pick up my bedroom.
Take out trash.
Clean.[Token effort only.]
Do laundry
Iron.
Watchthe second half of FOTR:EE, and all of TT:EE and ROTK:EE
Finish reading True Names and City of Pearl
Make a bit more progress on Myst:Revelation
