BTS-1 Update

They found the BTS-1 capsule! That was the most nail-biting half hour of Twitter ever. (Probably easiest to follow @Camilla_SDO for the whole story.)

The capsule was perilously close to the water

Then came the news that the crew was not in the capsule, but had left a note ...

I'm afraid that was the point at which my suspension of disbelief snapped, and I was left feeling vaguely cheated and wondering if they were ever in the capsule in the first place. I'd rather have seen the heroic crew being extracted from the capsule, possibly a little the worse for wear. But I wouldn't dream of saying that where the presumed kid audience could hear me; it's obvious in hindsight that there had to have been a kid-friendly get-out built in, in case of total loss or damage to the mascots.



So now we wait some more, but with more expectation of a happy outcome.
