That soft pink is so beautiful. Hyacinths are so pretty, but the scent gives me a headache so I can't have them in the house. :(

That's too bad. It's so nice to have a bit of spring indoors when outdoors is mostly grey with intermittent snow.

Thanks! These are indoors, of course -- three bulbs in a pot that my mother gave me for a housewarming gift just before the holidays. They sat doing nothing much for a couple of weeks, and then suddenly shot up and opened out. The whole kitchen is full of their scent now.

There aren't many signs of spring outside, though the daffodil shoots are peeking through and have been for some time.

Thanks! I've been exercising the Canon a bit for a change -- much as I love the Lumix for most purposes, it doesn't do those really close macros.
