Spring on campus

That white orchid tree isn't in its full glory yet, but the flowers are starting to open.

Lovely! More flowers and blossoms are opening now in London. They forecast colder temperatures again next week. Back to single digits centigrade. :0(

Thank you! Spring is coming, but it's running late here too. The forecast is for 70F today, which isn't very warm for late March.

That looks so beautiful, white and clean. I like the way the symmetry is not quite perfect.

Meanwhile, on another continent, our daffodils are just about opening. I had a tiny clump of crocuses in the garden, but they'd no sooner opened than they were battered by heavy rain. :(

Thank you! There's something about white petals against a blue sky, and this tree is one of the more flamboyant things on the campus.
