What I did on Saturday

Saturday was the annual Sunday School excursion to the Wildlife World Zoo near Phoenix. It was a quick turnaround after the Stanford trip last week, but I'm glad I went. The weather was perfect, everyone had a good time, and I got some nice photos.
The zebras were in fine form.
The rhino was awake and moving about, too.

The new aquarium isn't complete yet, but it already has some handsome displays -- not as extensive as Monterey or New Orleans, but the fish are beautiful.
My favorite was the huge, moss-encrusted turtle, barely distinguishable from a rock until it moved.

That goes to the whole zoo set -- three separate trips.
Also, thank you! This was the Lumix -- I took the big Canon last year, but it was a bit of a logistical challenge.
