Winter coming -- for real this time?
Oct. 25th, 2009 10:20 pmAs of just now, the weather.com forecast calls for a high of 83 tomorrow, 85 with wind and clouds on Tuesday ... and 59 on Wednesday. That does tend to be the way it goes, round about the end of October; a day of east wind, and a steep drop in temperature that marks the final departure of summer. It won't stay that cold, of course -- the same forecast has it back in the low 80s by next weekend, and 70s and 80s are fairly typical for winter, in between storms. I think we do have some hope of not seeing the 90s again until February or March, at least.
I think I'll build the light comforter properly into the bed this evening, instead of just draping it over the top.
