Alas, there's still the October/November Santa Anas ahead, and then, at last, I hope, summer will be over.

Well, when I say "fall" I mean temperatures between the low 90s and mid 80s, which would still be a searing heatwave where I grew up. On previous experience, I should be able to break out the winter-weight skirts round about the middle of October.
