I have an old e-mail account that I mostly only check on Wednesdays, for my mother's weekly message. Today, I found another message there, from an online friend unheard-from in more than three years, which was a very pleasant surprise. I need to do some work tonight. I haven't been doing so much of that lately, because it tends to take me so long to unwind afterwards that I hardly get any sleep, but there's a deadline on this.
