Seasonal Weirdness

There was an elderly woman at the airport this lunchtime wearing what appeared to be a Halloween witch's hat (conical, with brim), entirely covered in green tinsel to resemble a stylized Christmas tree.

There was something funny going on with the bus I came home on, such that it was emitting shrill, eerie, almost tuneful whistling sounds.
