American English meme
Apr. 14th, 2005 08:44 amExcept, of course, American English is my second language, and when I speak it at all I speak it with a strong British accent. I grew up calling carbonated beverages 'fizzy drinks' and a shopping cart a 'trolley', and I didn't even recognize any of the terms for an easy course. I think we used to call those 'Mickey Mouse' courses when I was at University.
Incidentally, there seemed to be a bug in the HTML generated by the quiz. I think I fixed it, but it's behind a cut anyway, to be on the safe side.
