This month's excuse for not posting much is that I don't want to talk about US politics, but it's hard to think of anything else to say. I think this is a safely uncontroversial statement, though.

If $CANDIDATE wins, they'll be letting off fireworks in the UK the next day.

The beauty of it is, it's true for any value of $CANDIDATE.
