Grump. I wanted to watch a silly escapist DVD, but the remote for the DVD player has wandered off somewhere.

I don't think my peripatetic lifestyle would work for cats, sadly.

I wouldn't be surprised if I came home tonight and put my hand right on the remote, though.

Bah. I know how you feel. We have nine remotes, and the one you want is never in the pile.

At least it turned up the next day. There are only (counts) five here, but they do tend to go walkabout at inconvenient moments.
