Spring

Well, the pear blossom didn't succumb to the rain, though there's a fine dusting of petals on the sidewalk now, and the peach tree down by the Math building is out. There was a fine, high haze all day, very odd for these parts, but it's definitely starting to feel like spring. I spotted pinhead pink buds on the beavertail cactus this morning; too early to say whether that's flowers or segments.
