From down by the turtle pond, earlier in the week when it was warmer. The turtles, alas, were not in evidence. I'm still waiting to try my new zoom capability on them!

Something of that persuasion, anyway; definitely water-loving. I'm fairly sure it's Cyperus Alternifolius. My mother still has a potted one descended from one I started from a cutting in my undergraduate days.
