Playing around with the new camera

I can't wait to try it out in daylight!




(These are full size if you click all the way through -- about 2Mb on average. It's 8Mpx to the old one's 4.1, and 12x optical zoom, but the default mode is fairly efficiently
compressed.)

(Canon PowerShot S5 IS, for those interested.)

	Super-macro Ring on doily (number 10 thread)
	Zoomed in from about five feet away (And the facial recognition kicked in!)
	Zoom over about ten feet Clock on the study wall, from the door, with the new camera.
	Zoon from the door (old camera) Same position, max (3x) optical zoom.

Thanks! It's great to be able to zoom in on the flowers at the tops of the trees or the cacti in the middle of the cactus garden!
