I had a story idea drop on me on the way back from the laundry room yesterday. The trouble is, even though it spans a generation and three star systems, it feels like a novella at most. Still, it's something to look at when I need reminding that I won't be all out of stories if/when I finish Behemoth. Maybe it will attach itself to something else, if I give it time.
