New computer just shipped, despite originally showing a ship date of 9/10. Estimated arrival Saturday, which of course won't work, but if nothing gets too messed up I should have it Tuesday -- Friday if I'm really fortunate, I suppose.


Now I need to think of a name for it. (Current incumbents are Butterfly and Behemoth -- in the icon -- and the mostly-retired Harriman; the old desktop was NIMR.)

(Meanwhile, USPS seems to persist in the belief that Denver is between Richmond, CA and Tucson.)
