Hawaii birds

We spotted some unfamiliar birds on our morning walk last Tuesday; they seemed fairly unbothered by our presence, which is how I managed -- at the farthest stretch of my rather feeble 3x zoom -- to get these shots.

Thanks! It was fun to see different birds as well as different vegetation. There were a lot of pigeons and doves, as well, including some that I'm fairly sure weren't the species we get around here.

Exotic Widlife

These birds are cool, Wonderful colours. On my recent trip to Sri Lanka I saw some birds but my canon ixus 40 is not powerful enough for the long shots. However I did capture this cool chameleon on film...

Great colours too.

The chameleon's neat. We get little striped lizards here, but I've never managed to catch on one camera; they're usually hiding in the undergrowth.
