The last few weeks, Sunday's words have been a bonus, as I've already been over my weekly 3500 before I get to Sunday. This week, I'm 600 words short. I was hoping to finish the story this weekend, too, but I don't think that's going to happen. I'm starting to suspect myself of dragging out Defector to unnecessary and unreasonable length, just to avoid coming to grips with the Behemoth novel.

Just to add to the fun, I've been having odd stabbing pains in my finger and toe joints today.
