I have just taken delivery of a copy of the 6th Malazan novel, The Bonehunters. What with shipping and the ridiculous exchange rate, this UK MMPB probably cost me almost two locally-grown hardcovers. The good thing is that at the rate Tor is catching up, the next one ought to be available in hardcover here round about the same time it comes out in paperback in the UK.

Is it known yet how many books are going to be in the series? I have the first few, but I've been waiting to read them, as I hate getting stuck in the middle of long series (I blame Robert Jordan for this phobia). I've been avoiding George R. R. Martin for the same reason.
