ellarienI'm home, safe and sound if rather fried. Journey mostly uneventful, but I really don't care for SouthWest's open boarding policy, and particularly dislike the system of putting up signs for the different boarding groups, which causes people to get in line up to an hour before the plane is even at the gate and stand there like sheep, occasionally checking with other sheep that they're in the right line. I did manage to commit some wordage while standing in line at LAX. LA is quite pretty from the air after dark.
I have new DVDs -- Voyage Season 2 vol 2, and SG:Atlantis Season 2, both eagerly anticipated. (Also a couple of books.) Apartment inspection next week, so I guess some housework will have to happen this weekend, but I have some hopes of finishing Vortex, too.
It looks (and feels) as though the warm weather has arrived while we've been gone.
