ellarienI'm lying on the living room sofa, posting this from the palm because I suddenly feel too lazy to get up and use the computer three feet away. There's cleaning I should do, and a story I'd like to finish, but right now the idea of a nap seems strangely attractive, even though I don't really do naps as a rule.
Yesterday's shopping excursion revealed that the price of flash memory is falling so fast that even the big chains can't keep up; also dvd recorders have hit a sensible price point -- not that I want one -- and pretty skirts and natural fibers are in this spring (if you like earth tones for spring, which I do.)
Today there isn't a cloud in the sky, but the wind is still cold. I walked up to the Trader Joe's earlier; there seemed to be some kind of cattle-related event going on at the university farm, with a lot of tents and trailers, and stocky, glossy beasts standing patiently in small portable pens.
