No groceries for me tonight

It's trying to snow out there -- mostly, so far, only achieving rain, but trying. It was only cold, miserable rain as I slogged up from the shuttle stop to the bus stop at 4.45, just missing the bus, but when I emerged from the office again, after an interval of fortifying myself with coffee, Twix bars and ibuprofen, to catch the next bus, the rain looked suspiciously slow and opaque. Sure enough, before I was halfway to the bus stop there were definite, if soggy, white flakes on my black bag.

I think I could live without getting groceries at all this week, if it came to that.

Update: it's not coming down much any more, but there is definitely a dusting of white on the lawn now.
