We've been having thunderstorms, brief and intense, but today the clouds stayed away.
The skies are cloudless blue, the light is like crystal, and the chorisia trees are in bloom, the pink one with its delicate streaks of dark on cream and the creamy white one touched with cafe-au-lait.
