Experience suggests, and the historical weather data would seem to confirm, that in a couple of weeks the weather around here should start to cool down a bit, and also dry out. This will be very welcome, is all I can say. I've reached the point where I can't quite manage without the AC overnight, though I still can't sleep through it, so I haven't had a really good night since I got home three weeks ago, and it's taking a toll. Phoenix has had it worse, though -- they've been having 110+ temperatures, while our highs are merely hovering around the 100 mark. I don't actually mind the being out in the heat so much, for short periods; it's just the never, ever being really cool, even indoors, that gets wearing after a while. (I'm sure those of you in Japan have it worse, though. Our humidity's only averaging 40-50%.)
