I seem to have successfully hooked my boss on the Malazan series. He travels a lot, and every so often I recommend something he might like for travel reading: the Baroque Cycle, the Temeraire series, and now Malazan. (He beat me to Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell.)

We had another storm this evening, not as impressive as yesterday's. When I got home, half an hour before sunset, the best rainbow I've ever seen in Tucson was on display in the eastern sky; a full double arc.

Well, we seem to be back, though I get the impression LJ isn't exactly running on all cylinders yet.
