Mission accomplished

I popped into central Birmingham this lunchtime in quest of a copy of The Embers of Heaven, which has been persistently not appearing at the campus bookstore. I drew a blank at the station WHSmith and both the big Waterstone's, so I ventured into the shiny new Bullring and the Borders therein. And there I found it -- one copy, shelved under 'Fiction'.

So now I know what I'll be reading on my next transatlantic flight.
