Rainy Wednesday
Jun. 21st, 2006 08:25 pmIt started off as just another hot day, but by afternoon the clouds were starting to build up. Around 5pm came a crash of thunder, followed by a brief but heavy shower. By the time we left the office at around 6.45, the sidewalks were mostly dry, but there were huge puddles in the gutters here and there. It was also noticeably and pleasantly cooler, enough so that I was able to walk down to the grocery store and back in comfort.
In the process of putting the groceries away, I found my stray copy of Black Powder War, fallen down behind the chair where the stash of grocery bags lives. So now I have two. Anybody want one?
I'm going to take the next couple of days as vacation, in an attempt to catch up on the housework a bit.
