It's been a day ...

I slept badly last night, and didn't get moving very fast in the morning, and then there was a bus that never showed up. And then I got to work, and there was the line-edit on the paper, about which the less said the better. On the other hand, I bought a new silver-and-onyx ring from a stall on campus (now there's something that makes me feel twenty years younger!), and got a nice photo of a puff-ball flower.
