That's what they call it, in the desert's idiosyncratic taxonomy of seasons. There's a surprising amount of humidity -- fifteen or twenty per cent -- in the air lately, and yesterday some places got a tiny trace of rain; the clouds are soft, and tend to build up in the afternoon.
