It's that time of year again; they only bloom briefly, here, but lavishly for their few days of beauty. I first saw jacaranda in bloom in Los Angeles, on my first trip to the US back in 1994, and it always reminds me of that trip.

you've never seen them as I've seen them, then, in bloom, streets of them, parks of them, the whole town blue with them.

Oh, thank you! I've never seen a jacaranda blooming before (unless in China, when I didn't know what I was looking at!), and it's such a romantic name. Thank heavens the flowers live up to the name :)

Glad to be of service! They are rather spectacular, though this isn't the best climate for them.
