(Sorry! That'll teach me to do html on a Friday night. Should be all fixed now.)
Two new-fledged mourning dove chicks in their nest between the branches of a saguaros, flapping their baby wings.
A tiny mouse whisking out of sight into the undergrowth of the cactus garden.
A magnolia tree in bloom, in a sheltered south-facing corner. I climbed up a fire-escape staircase and photographed one of the huge flowers from above.
And I finally found one of the odd rusty-flowered trees that had some flowers within reach, and the flowers, up close, are very strange indeed. I think it's an African Sumac. {edit: no, sorry, misread the map. Silk Oak (grevillea robusta).}
