I think it's the change of season that does it, the swings of temperature and the associated likelihood of getting chilled sleeping in an awkward position. Last fall I had trouble with my left shoulder; last night I did something to the right one. It isn't crippling, but it's uncomfortable, and bad enough to induce me to eat my (Mexican) lunch English-style because it was too uncomfortable using the fork in my right hand.
Also, I brushed too close to a cholla I was photographing and picked up dozens of fine, inch-long spines in my leg and camera case. And I made a horrible mess making coffee this morning -- I flipped a scoop of grounds onto the counter, and then the machine leaked.
