Tuesday; planes, trains, and dragons

Thanks to the Wonders of Technology (TM) and the convenience of having a UK bank account, I now have flights to the UK, on to Denmark, and back, plus a Heathrow hotel room for the way back and a ridiculously inexpensive train ticket to Sheffield for the way there. (I presume that there isn't all that much demand for trains out of London early on a Thursday afternoon, even if it is the Thursday before a bank holiday.)
I also have my copy of Crystal Dragon, which turned up exactly when I was expecting it in spite of the alleged tracking number never having worked. On the other hand, it looks as if I may have to wait a while longer for
naominovik's His Majesty's Dragon, having committed the twin tactical errors of choosing free shipping and bundling it with other things including a CD of erratic availability. As it seems to have gone out of stock almost immediately and my order is not showing 'shipping soon', I may not get it until they get more in.
I took no photos today, as lunchtime was grey, damp, and windy. One or two of those probably wouldn't discourage me, but all three together was too much.
