Monster sunspots!

Two days ago it was hardly there at all:
No big flares so far, and maybe it's too simple to do much, but it looks worth keeping an eye on.
For comparison, 486, the one that caused all the excitement around Halloween 2003, was the 'clown-face' one in the southern hemisphere here:
