- I resolve to go barefoot for one hour each day, and practice paying attention to what I feel with my feet.
- I resolve to take the most deeply-hidden, jealously guarded nugget of insecurity I have, facet it like a diamond, and wear it as jewelry on my soul all year long.
- I resolve to put long colorful tassels on the handlebars of my bike, and periodically attach meaningful objects to them so that the bike becomes a portable shrine.
- I resolve to make a mix CD or tape of songs that have distinct memories attached to them, then listen to it on "shuffle" so often that the songs trade memories.
- I resolve to find two days and two nights in which I can be completely by myself with no contact with other people and see what happens.
- I resolve to find the strange beauty that lurks within the thing about myself that I find ugliest, and then turn it into art.
- I resolve to find something I only think I have lost.
- I resolve to learn how to get taller when I need the height advantage.
- I resolve to spend ten minutes every day seeing the world through rose colored glasses.
- I resolve to pick five dates that are significantfor me in some way, and on each one of them as they come along, go out and find a gentle slope or hill and roll down the hillside while thinking about whatever significancethe day holds. Afterward, I will write about what it felt like to roll down the hill on that particular day.
- I resolve to try on a new persona once a month, for one day each time, to find out what they feel like from the inside.
- I resolve that each week I will make an entry in a list entitled "Ways To Blow Kisses To God."
- I resolve to find an occasion on which to serenade someone from beneath their bedroom window.
- I resolve to record in some form, once each week, a sense-memory having to do with water.
- I resolve to learn to use my psychic prehensile tail.
- I resolve to make a work of art that invokes an alternate history of my life from the instant of my conception to the present day.
- I resolve to adopt a positive trait of one of my characters
- I resolve to learn, every month, the name and habits of one plant, bird or animal in my environment.

Remove whatever resolution is italicised, pick the one that you mean to keep and put it in italics. Then add your own, worthwhile resolution to the bottom of the list in plain text, keep the byeline, and post it in your journal.
