World shortage of yellow ink?

ellarienI was printing some photos yesterday, and the printer pointed out that it was running low on yellow ink. No problem, thought I, and trotted down to the computer store after lunch. They had black and cyan, but no yellow ink. Okay, surely I can order online? Apparently not -- Amazon has the yellow ink marked as 'Not currently available.'
What the unprintable? I've had this printer less than a year, and it isn't exactly an obscure brand.
There are other online possibilities, but I'm wary of buying online from places I've never heard of. My physical shopping opportunities will be severely limited this week. I may be able to pop back to the campus store on Wednesday and ask if they're expecting any in ...
Edit: never mind. I seem to have taken a wrong turn somewhere among the Amazon partners; when I went back I found all the colours without any trouble.
