Fun things to do on a holiday weekend

I just spent about six hours setting up the layout for a CD showcasing about 250 of my photos. I let Photoshop Elements do the heavy lifting of setting up the galleries, but then I wanted to make a front end and include the full-size images as well, which involved a bit of html coding, and a certain amount of batch-file jiggery-pokery. Most of this happened in emacs and at the command prompt. I'm quite pleased with the end result, and it's been fun combing through 3500+ images to pick out my favourites. Now all I have to is design the label and burn some copies.
