Often enough, at this time of year, the networks seem to be vying for the most sensational and outre episodes of popular shows. Tonight's Without a Trace wasn't like that.
They went the other way, dealing with a rather bread-and-butter case of a missing teenager and his very ordinary and decent parents who really didn't have any skeletons in the closet. Very nicely done, I thought, and a nice change of pace from the horribly overwrought episodes at the end of last season.
