I first noticed the flowers back in May, with their huge waxy white petals. Never mind teacups -- these flowers are teapot-sized.

these rather pretty seed heads are left behind.
Three months later, the fruit is ripening. Three months later, the fruit is ripening.

It took me a little thought and googling to realize this was the same kind of tree.
