How much candy is too much?

I just went slightly wild at the grocery store, and I think went a few pounds over what is sensible to furnish the stockings of two teens, a ten-year-old and three (or four) adults, one of whom is low-carbing. Oh well, no doubt the surplus will vanish soon enough if I take it into work next week.
Still need to wrap pens, and figure out reading material for the trip. Peter Ackroyd's Albion: The Origins of the English Imagination is fascinating, if rather over my head in places, but probably too heavy both intellectually and physically for reading on the shuttle to Phoenix, and Pratchett's Going Postal doesn't get unwrapped until Saturday.
I'll be leaving earlyish tomorrow morning. Seasonal Greetings to those who enjoy them!
