I have cleaned the kitchen and the bathroom, put some books and clothes away, done some vacuuming, spot-cleaned the carpet around the recliner, descaled the kettle, virus-checked the desktop, and printed out some photos. It would be nice if the vacuum would get more hair out of the carpet than I can manage by running my fingers over it, but still ...

I've also started reading Charles Stross's Accelerando, which is so dense that I can only take a few pages at a time.
