For a six-week trip to Sheffield, England, of which two weeks will be vacation and four work.



Nighties, x2.
Jeans, 2 pairs.
T-shirts, x6, one reserved for travel. (I could cut that down if necessary.)
Skirts, informal, x3.
Skirts, work-suitable, with belts as appropriate, x3.
Blouses, ditto, x3.
Capris, khaki, possibly work-capable, one pair.
Dresses x2.
Socks, 6 pairs.
Underwear, x7.
Presents from New Orleans, x3.
Bible and hymnbook.
Berets, x2.
Quilted jacket, as worn in Tucson winters and cool English summmer weather, x1.
Hair ornaments, assorted.

Crochet materials.
Nail Clippers
Charger for camera batteries.
Bathroom items
Laptop tether
Plug adapters.
Hose. (It makes me perspire even thinking about them, here and now, but I'll be needing them by the end of August in Sheffield!)
A headscarf for those windy days on the moors.
Possibly three wall calendars in anticipation of next Christmas, but I can always mail those nearer the time.


I know my suitcase can just about handle this kind of trip, because I did it last year. I have a fair amount of stuff at my mother's house: underwear, old knitwear, my hiking shoes, shampoo, even some crochet thread.
