Clean kitchen: counters, stovetop, purge fridge, floor
Clean bathroom: sink/vanity, bath, porcelain, floor

Laundry, machine

Tidy, dust living room

Tidy, dust dining area

Tidy, dust bedroom

Vacuum

Trash

Get groceries (Urgh. It's supposed to go well over 100 today. Also, serious road works between here and grocery store.)

Bits of this look remarkably like bits of the last two days around here (well, not the heat) as I finally dig the house out from the effects of the election, the Clarke Award and my exams. Three weeks' worth of newspapers were sent for recycling yesterday, the first week I've managed to be home on recycling day in all that time! Today, a mountain of bottles went to the dump for recycling.

Satisfying, but I confess I'd rather be lounging around with my feet up!

I'm glad I didn't have housework to contend with when I was doing exams! My excuses this time are ... ummm. Taxes, which were done over a month ago, and a short-notice and exhausting trip in the middle of preparation for a long-expected journey that starts on Sunday. I'd like to have the place decent before I go away again.
