ellarienNo 100-degree temperature today after all, apparently. It was quite hot enough for me at 97, and we're told it's going to get hotter.
Had a frustrating day at work, during which I kept sending my powerpoint slides to what was supposed to be the transparency queue on the colour printer, only to discover that someone had filled the tray with plain paper. (Belt and braces/suspenders thing: I don't expect to need to use them, but it's nice to have them along in case the auditorium LCD projector has a fit.) When we got the tray refilled, the printer decided it was low on yellow ink, but it managed to produce a set of slides for me anyway, eventually. Also didn't manage to incorporate the last-minute data into the talk.
Tomorrow: housework. Really.
