I had more fun at the Festival of Books -- two panels on Fantasy, both of which suffered a bit from the moderation. Not that the moderators were bad per se, but the first one was clueless about fantasy -- admitted as much a few minutes in, after stumbling through the introductions -- and the second one was asking extremely generic getting-to-know-the-writers questions, which were interesting but not really germane to the advertised topic, until ...

You know what, once I've started I'm obviously not going to be able to be brief about this, and it's too close to bedtime to start a lengthy post.
