I went down to the turtle pond today. It's the time of year for dragonflies ...

What a wonderful Crimson Colour. I love dragonflies! They are so regal. Do you know the song by Fleetwood Mac?

You should of course be able to find it on iTunes or see it on YouTube but here's a link to the lyrics: http://www.mp3lyrics.org/f/fleetwood-mac/dragonfly/ Hope you like! :0}

And you didn't have to wade into the pond?

The exposure is terrific, said she enviously.

I thought you'd like that. The Peter Green led lineup of Fleetwood Mac contains some good tunes. I recommend you checkout some albums from that era. Have a nice weekend! ;0}

Is that the Palace of the Dragonfly King in the background, or the Temple of the Dragonfly God?

Super photo! How close were you and what lens did you use?

I need a good (but also fairly inexpensive) macro lens for my Rebel XSi. I prefer a short tele zoom. I wish I could find one like the 28-85 I used on my AE-1 program all those years ago (I bought it a quarter of a century ago -- good lord!).
